At the end of October and the beginning of November I had a welcome half term break. I decided to set off to visit Texas for the second time. This was hardly Mexico, but it comprised a part of my overall Mexican experience. The pictures below of Austin and Dallas show the stark difference in architecture. |

Back in Mexico and I did have cause on Saturday, 12th November to visit the nearby industrial city of San Juan Del Rio that lies just 12 miles from Tequisquiapan. I went there purely to pay my telephone bill, but as the telephone office was closed I decided to explore the centre. I was pleasantly surprised. There were some interesting churches and other attractive buildings. |
